finally some rest!

Today is my day off. You have no idea how much I needed a day to sit on my ass and do nothing. I've been so busy for the last couple of weeks or so. Last weekend was Harry Potter weekend and it was totally hectic but totally cool. They had me do face painting on the little kids and some of the greasy older kids (eww there was one in particular that i was kinda grossed out by). That was a lot of fun...I learned some Harry Potter lingo since I've never read any of the books and haven't seen but two of the movies, only one i liked. I drew a lot of snitches, brooms, spiders, snakes and stuff like that. I learned about the four different houses and drew a lot of their insignias that day as well. There was this one little girl who dressed up and looked amazing. She looked like a character right out of the book, i couldn't name the character but she looked like someone dammit! She ended up winning the costume contest...she was like maybe five. There was one little boy who wanted to be so helpful but I didn't have anything for him to help with and he kept getting passed around from associate to associate until I think Matty gave him something to do. There really wasnt anything I could have him do because my job didn't really involve anything that required assitance. Well I could've had him wipe off that dudes head or something.

I also got to help Kiwi move into her new apartment. I am so proud of her. I know she didn't really have a choice but to move but its a grown up move that not many of my friends have made. I was forced into moving out but she really got to do it right and for that I am indeed proud of my daughter. We talked a lot and it was really nice to reconnect with her again cuz it's been a minute. Her apartment is really nice too. She moved in with her little sister and is kinda taking care of her too. I am just really impressed with her.

I didn't really sleep much this weekend either. I was totally exhausted. I worked that horrendous closing shift for Harry Potter. 5pm to 2AM. I had to help Kiwi move the next morning before work so I woke up at 9 and moved most of the heavy stuff in the heat then went to work 3 to 11:30. Got home that night and dealt with liana drama (its like clockwork sometimes, every two months or something) and didn't get to bed until 2:30ish. I woke up the next morning at like 8:15 and went into work at 10 eventhough my shift didn't start until noon. I didn't have a ride in so I had to go in with Nate. It's all good because I love hanging out with Nate. There was a point the other day where I started talking about 'pure evil' and he came over like I had called him. I love him! I will miss him if he ever leaves.

This is what I've done today.

woke up at 12:30ish......got online and talked to a new guy Kenny and then Greggie after a while......made some breakfast at 3.....got back on the computer for a while.....bathed....now it is 9:00.
